Dry Skin Treatment For Everyone

Skin is the largest organ of the human body. It protects you, but it also shows your health condition as well as the extent to which you care for it. There is normal, greasy and dry type, as well as combined type. Each type requires a different care. If you are looking for the best dry skin treatment, here are some good ideas.

If you follow a few simple rules, you will have fewer problems with this. The first mistake people often make is a hot water shower. The usual showering should take about five minutes, not longer. The water should be warm and never hot.

Never use products containing alcohol, or scented shower gels, or even soaps. Choose mild and moisturizing body showers with body lotions included. When it comes to quantity of used gel, be cheap with it. Dilute a small amount with water and never exfoliate using aggressive products or sponges.

After showering, just gently remove excess fluid with a soft towel, do not rub. While it is still moist, apply a moisturizing lotion to the body. At least once a week, apply pure almond oil instead of body milk. Almond oil is an excellent nutrition for the skin, deeply nourishes it and makes it soft and elastic. It's best to do it in the evening and then put on a pure cotton pajama.

Damaged or sour body areas can be repaired using this simple grandma's recipe. Combine one spoon good quality olive oil with the same quantity of honey and ten drops of pure chanterelle oil. Apply this on problematic areas and cover with pure cotton cloths. Leave it there for at least fifteen minutes. Now you can carefully rise it all off, with no rubbing. Use moisturizing lotion then while the skin is still wet.

Dry skin is especially sensitive to sun, and can easily get red or get sunburns. Protect it every single day, regardless of the season. If you get burned anyway, here is one simple and effective remedy. Pure heavy sour cream is great for this. Other types could use yogurt for this purpose, but you should apply sour cream on burned or red areas. After ten minutes or so, rinse and apply your usual caring lotion.

Here's a refreshing mask for sensitive and dry skin. Thoroughly mix up one banana, spoonful of honey and spoonful of pure almond oil. If you do not have almond oil, you can replace it with olive oil. Add one spoon of yogurt. The mixture must be smooth. Apply on face and body and leave for ten minutes. Rinse and apply moisturizing lotion.

Food also has a great impact on skin quality. You need to drink enough water and avoid carbonated drinks. Eat one piece of fruit at each meal and eat fresh salad. Pay attention to the ingredients of your deodorant and other cosmetic products. Do not use products containing alcohol and other harmful substances or additives. Check if you are allergic on something.
