How To Actually Burn Fat in the Gym

If you join a gym, you want to see real results. This will tell you how to see the wanted results of burning off fat in the gym.
First of all, there are two types of exercises in the gym: Cardio and weights. You will need to spend time doing both, with an emphasis on cardio. The cardio exercises will burn the calories and fat, while the weight lifting exercises will build mass muscle which will increase your metabolism so you will burn off more fat, more quickly as well as give your body a more toned and fit look.
Cardiovascular exercise, is essential to burning off fat and burns off the most calories. You simply can't burn off fat without cardio workouts. This can include walking or running on the treadmill, aerobics, dancing, swimming, exercise bikes as well as various other gym workout equipment. Different gyms have different cardio workout options. Some gyms offer aerobics, kickboxing, and dance classes. These are great exercises because they get your body moving, your heart pumping and are fun.
If you are not in shape, don't push yourself. Just do what you can do, and work up your fitness level. Don't compare yourself to anybody else. Just because someone else can jog on the treadmill for an hour doesn't mean you have to.  The first step is just doing it, even if you can only jog on the treadmill for a minute or two or get tired halfway through an aerobics workout. You can't burn off fat if you don't do anything.
Find some type of cardio exercise you like, because if you want to actually burn fat, you must do cardio. That's the way it is.
You have to burn off 3500 more calories than you take in to lose 1 pound of fat. The gym is a great tool in burning fat because you can burn a lot of calories, but you still need to watch what you put in your body. You've heard it before, but it's so important, here it is again-Stop eating junk food. Keep foods you know are bad as an occasional treat. Get more vegetables in your diet, limit processed foods, and try to avoid soda, high fructose corn syrup, and fast food restaurants if you can. If not, you'll have to work out in the gym just to stop from gaining weight.
Cardio and weight lifting will increase your metabolism. Once your metabolism speeds up, you will burn off more calories with the exact same workout.
To actually burn fat in the gym, you will have to do cardio exercise for at least 30 minutes. It depends on the individual, but as an average, it takes about 30 minutes of cardio before you start burning off your stored fat. So your ideal workout in the gym will be around 45 minutes of cardio exercise (more if possible) and then 15 minutes of lifting weights.
If you're not in shape, don't worry about doing 45 minutes of cardio then 15 minutes of weightlifting in the gym. But workout at your own pace until you reach this level and you will see the fat burn from your body.
