Rules for the seashore believe that open hand tipping makes it too easy to score and does not suit the game well. The alternative to this is a roll shot using an open hand.

Those teams who did not practice conditioning will be out of shape during their training. For one to win a game, power, agility and strength are needed to be established, which is attained during volleyball conditioning. Volleyballs used indoor have a much higher air pressure and are pumped rather high. Seashore volleyballs are not. The likely reason for this is because seashore volleyballs are not meant to be bounced on the ground. And, obviously, seashore are not meant to be used inside and vice versa with the indoor.
