Tracking The Hip Hop, Rap Career Of The Amazing Steven Cooper

By Joseph Green

The kind of music that is heard today is very varied, with many genres influencing the musical tastes of the new generation. Hip hop, r and b, and even rap might often cross over, as witness the many cooperative hits between artists from these disciplines. However, the one thing that makes music stand out is the way that it does not exclusive to gender, race and such social categories.

Male, born in Kansas, a 33 year old rapper, and a Virgo, these are some vital stats that fans would like to know about the person we are discussing. He is Steven Cooper, a musical artist who can be heard and seen on YouTube and other live streaming sites. His songs have made it to the charts and national shows.

Notable artists like Kid Rock, David Cook and TechN9ne all have collaborated with Cooper, and they have influenced each other in the way of making good music. His style of play is quite versatile musically and can incorporate the disparate influences that he has. For example, Rock or Cook belong to rock, pop or to the ballad styles.

He was born in September 17, 1983, and is of an age for being musically inclined towards rap and hip hop, two of the most prevalent styles for kids during his formative decades. While it can be said that these genres have delineated racial lines, Mr. Cooper is himself white. This is the type of boundary hopping that is crucial to the popularity of both.

His most popular melodies are Better Me, Broken Chains and Born to Do. They are all under his record label Unlabeled, enjoying good radio exposure, chart ratings and other stuff. Also, these were also featured on national TV channels like Fox, ESPN, MTV, NBC and ABC.

He got the single better working the iTune charts during the time of its release. This song featured Akon on vocals, and is perhaps the signature song for the artist. Born to Do was a song prominently featured when Pro Bowl 2015 was held.

Steve has made albums that mark his career that has been ongoing for nearly ten years. His songs like Better Me and Born to Do were recorded for the Life and Love album, which had a 2012 release, and probably a definitive one. Albums and EPs include One Shot and Stereotype, Brightside, Volume One and his latest EP One Night Out.

Steve has created music out of the need to express his inspirations and emotions. He is rare among artists in his genre for espousing positivity and optimism in much of his grooves. No rule disallows this stance, and it is one well taken and accepted by his peers.

The Promise Land Festival at Ottumwa, Iowa saw Steve as its main man, with a crowd draw of over 3,500 attendees. Also, he made the record of an unsigned artist who headlined major dates during a summer tour which were played on summer kids camps. His career has had these mile markers, and it still bodes well for the future, and many people agree with this.
