Ideas On Remy Human Hair

By Edward Bennett

Back in the day, the most common type of extensions was synthetic. These days, synthetic extensions are not used that much with many people favoring Remy Human Hair. These are extensions made from actual human hair that has been processed.

There are three different types of extensions made of human hair and Remy is one of them. It is not the best nor the worst of the three different types but it is superb quality and though it may be somewhat expensive, it does last long. It is the most preferred of the three because it is affordable and lasts long.

The effect you want when you get your locks done is to look stunning. The last thing you want is curious glances trying to figure out if it is actually your hair or not and wondering why it is not toning. You want to be admired, period. But this is not possible when people look at your locks and find faults in it no matter how well it has been styled.

The other type of extension is known as non-Remy. These are extensions made from actual human locks but they are not collected suitably. They are normally collected from the floors of temples, salons and barber shops. They are then put together are processed.

Remy extensions are of a superior quality that can handle heat and extreme styling not to mention they can be colored. So apart from having extensions that look like a continuance of your locks, you have extensions that so not have to be removed when your locks are being washed, dyed, treated or styled. This not only save you money but also time and energy.

While with these Extensions, you can use it plenty of times in a year while synthetic or non-Remy extensions can be used only a handful of times. Normally, they cannot be chemically processed like applying color nor can they be put under heat as either application will damage the extension.

The only difference from virgin extensions is that Remy extensions have been chemically processed at one point or another. So as much as they are gotten from a virgin donor, the tresses are not virgin. When being processed for extensions, they are normally mixed together and put through different treatments apart from silicon. The extensions do not require silicon because all the cuticles were left intact allowing the extensions to last up to a year.

It is therefore important to confirm the type of extension you are purchasing is the quality you need at the appropriate price. Make sure that it is from a reputable company that gathers the locks ethically and use eco friendly means when processing the hair. This ensures that you not only have a quality product but a sustainable one too.
